RajkotUpdates.News Games: Garena Free Fire & Pubg India | Everything You Need To Know

Garena

Rajkot City Police has banned the popular battle royale game, Garena Free Fire, from the city. The ban has been attributed to the addictive nature of the game, which can cause severe mental health issues for players. Last year, India banned PUBG Mobile, but it is unclear if the ban will apply nationwide.

PUBG Mobile has been banned in India since last year

In September of last year, the Indian government banned the popular game PUBG Mobile. The ban was triggered by data privacy concerns and national security issues. Tencent, the Chinese gaming company that developed PUBG Mobile, was forced to pull the game from the country. At the time, PUBG Mobile was the number one game in the country in terms of revenue and downloads. The game was a major contributor to the growth of mobile gaming in India. The ban of PUBG Mobile was a devastating blow for the battle royale segment in India. The game has since been reissued under the new name of Battlegrounds Mobile India.

A recent report has highlighted the harmful effects of PUBG Mobile on children. The Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar raised the issue during a discussion in the Rajya Sabha. The question arose after a media report revealed that a boy in Lucknow had killed his mother while playing PUBG Mobile. The child’s death has sparked a national discussion about the game’s potential impact on children. The incident has led to an investigation by law enforcement agencies. Moreover, he assured that the previous version of PUBG Mobile will remain banned in India until 2020.

The Indian government is now urging gamers to play the game legally. The game’s Indian version, Battlegrounds Mobile India, is not available on Indian app stores anymore. The South Korean gaming company Krafton has accused the Indian version of PUBG Mobile of being a rebranded version. In response, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meittech) denied the allegation.

Garena Free Fire is a battle royale game

Free Fire, also known as Garena Free, is a popular mobile game that was developed by 111dots Studio and published by Garena. Initially available only for Android, Free Fire has since become one of the most popular mobile games in the world. In fact, it set a record for most downloads in August 2021. It is a popular way to kill time while enjoying a good game.

The first mobile battle royale game, Free Fire has achieved 1 billion downloads in the Google Play store, making it the most popular mobile game of 2020. This game was the most downloaded mobile game of 2020 and had a record-breaking 100 million peak daily active players in August. The game also boasted 120 million daily online viewers and is still growing in popularity. Its popularity is also increasing in other regions, with players in Asia, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

While Free Fire initially launched as a battle royale game, the developers have gradually added more competitive game modes since then. Some became permanent staples due to mass appeal, while others rotate in the game’s lineup. These changes make the game feel fresh and exciting despite its stale formula. A game like Free Fire is only as good as its gameplay. There are no recoiling gun shots and bullet spread.

Players Unknown Battleground has been banned in India

After becoming one of the most popular mobile titles in India, the hit mobile game PUBG has been banned by the Indian Government. This is due to data-sharing violations involving sensitive information from the players. As a result, the government blamed the developer Krafton for the ban, which led to the company severing ties with Tencent. However, Krafton did not let the ban deter them from re-launching the game as Battlegrounds Mobile India, which the government approved to launch in 2021.

The ban was triggered after an incident in Lucknow in which a teenager was found to be addicted to PUBG. The Rajya Sabha has now discussed the ban, and a Krafton representative has confirmed that they are in talks with the government about the ban. While it is not clear whether the ban will have any impact on the game’s future in India, it is likely to have a negative impact on esports teams preparing for upcoming tournaments.

Final Words:

As the ban has spread throughout India, arrests of players in the game have also increased. Indian media outlets have reported that at least 16 people have been arrested, although the arrests have been treated lightly. Many of these players were later released after police bailed them out. The ban, however, was imposed on the mobile version of PUBG, which is available for PC, PS4, Stadia, Xbox One, and Android devices.
